God doesn’t do thing’s half assed, neither should you.

This bible verse popped up in my head this morning.

Ephesians 6:13
Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

And that “after you have done everything to stand” part hit me. We struggle not against flesh and blood but against principalities (mindsets and beliefs), God gave us all the equipment and weaponry we need to defend and attack, however, God still expects us to do EVERYTHING to stand. So I asked myself: “Chris real talk, are YOU doing everything that you are capable of doing on your end? Ecclesiastes 9:10 says whatever your hands find to do it with all your heart.

Is it possible that you aren’t where you desire to be because you haven’t been doing things will all your heart?
Could it be God can’t do His part in your life, because you aren’t even doing everything to stand up for what you believe in?
That feeling of  “I could be so much more, and by doing so much better, helping more, loving more, caring, sharing growing more” is not expressed because you’re simply half-assing it?

God doesn’t half-ass anything, just take a step back and look at your own body the planning and design and layout that went into you, how much has been done for you, what he’s protected you from, the opportunities for growth he’s providing to you even in this very moment. And you really think you’re gonna be all that you can be, just by doing the bare minimum… lol that’s crazy.

Take Action:

Ask yourself, no BS, what am I half-assing that I know if I give it my best shot, would actually improve the quality of my life?
Then take small steps in moving forward and doing that thing more and more each day.

Remember faith, commitment and consistency will carry you along way.
